Banff

I always love going to the Banff mountain film festival. It is a true shmooze and booze fest and a hell of a lot of fun. I managed to catch up with Conrad Anker, Kevin Doyle, Blanchard, and Chic Scott. (name dropping, yes!) Also while in Banff, I ran into James Little, editor of Explore magazine. After both my Everest trips I worked with James in writing two major articles for Explore (Sept/Oct. 06 and July 08). It was great to connect with him and photo editor Gary in person.
